JGB Enterprises makes the Industrial Distribution's 2019 Big 50 List

J.G.B. Enterprises, Inc., headquartered in Liverpool, New York, was recently honored by the Defense Supply Center in Richmond, Virginia as one of the government's best suppliers at an Automated Best Value System award ceremony held during the center's annual business conference in June.

Jeaneanne Ward accepted the Silver Medal for J.G.B. Enterprises, from the commander of the supply center, Rear Admiral Mark A. Young.

Last year J.G.B. Enterprises Filled over 10,000 contract and purchase orders with the Department of Defense and other government agencies and has supplied the federal government with over 43,000 different products.

Companies that qualify as Automated Best Value System medallists have met stringent quality and delivery requirements established by the Defense Logistics Agency. The Automated Best Value System is a computerized system that collects a vendor's past performance data and translates it into a numeric score ranging from zero to a perfect 100. To qualify for the Silver Medal, a company must have shipped 10 or more contracts lines for the Defense Supply Center Richmond in the past 12 months and must have earned a score of 99.0 through 99.9.

J.G.B. Enterprises is also a leading Department of Defense Industry Specialty Products Contractor providing all types of Original Equipment Manufacture spare parts, accessories and components as used in aerospace, ground support and shipboard applications.

Founded in 1977, the Company's corporate headquarters, administrative & sales offices, and main warehouse are located in a 65,000 sq.ft. facility in Liverpool, New York. In addition to the main facility, J.G.B. Enterprises has established two Branch Sales Offices, each with it's own 5,000 sq.ft. warehouse. In 1985, a Branch Office was opened in Buffalo, New York, which was relocated in March of this year to a new state of the art facility. Our newest Branch Office is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and opened its doors for business on May 1, 2000.

In October 1999, the Defense Contract Management Command (DCMC) presented JGB Enterprises a Certificate of Qualification for our overall quality capabilities, performance and standards in compliance with ISO 9002:94.
