Valve Description:

The 9095A overfill prevention valve is designed to prevent overfilling storage tanks by providing a positive shut-off during a pressurized fill. The valve installs at the fill port of a storage tank and can be set to the desired shut-off level by using standard length pipe nipples. Valve float and construction is compatable for use with aviation fuels.

Features:

• Tight fill connection required. Top fill, remote fill, and dry disconnect connections available
• Installs on 4" or 6" schedule 40 NPT male riser connection
• Standard drop tubes (Morrison 419) are easily attached with included drop tube adaptor
• Field adjustable float (1½") for setting the precise level of shut-off
• Integral anti-siphon function
• Full flow to shut-off point
• Cushioned shut-off eliminates line shock
• Integral pressure relief feature allows for safe uncoupling at the completion of the fill operation
• Shut-off is activated by basic hydraulic principles
• 5 PSI and 5 GPM minimum flow requirements
• 2" flow rate is 183 GPM at 10 PSI pressure drop
• 3" flow rate is 566 GPM at 10 PSI pressure drop

A mechanical test mechanism is available as an option. The test mechanism allows a
technician to pull on the test line at any time during the filling process to actuate the
float, stop the fill, and verify the valve is working properly.
