Application:

The Smart-Hose Safety System is combined with a heavy duty LPG transfer hose designed to meet the most rugged applications found in the LPG industry.
All hose meets USCG 46 CFR 154.551. (meets BS 4089 Type 3 with exceptions - exc. #1 hose has a min. burst of 1750 psi instead of 1450 psig, exc. #2 Smart-Hose comes with Swage type fittings, exc. #3 Hose is tested with water only).

Each hose is tested 525 and 700 psig.
Each hose is serial numbered
Each hose comes with test certificate and operating booklet.
316 Stainless Steel couplings are designed for reuse on new hose

Tube:

Nitrile or Buna-N rubber compound designed to resist the permeation of Butane/Propane

Reinforcement:

Multiple layers of Polyester Tire Cord with helix - min. burst 1750 psi

Cover:

Extra thick Neoprene with Nylon Breaker - abrasion & weather resistant

Temperature:

-6°F to 155°F (-21°C to 68°C)
