Application:
This rugged hose is specifically designed for the transfer of petroleumbased
products such as high temperature asphalt, tar, and hot oils. Suitable
for suction and discharge service on rail transport cars, tank trucks, bulk
stations, storage tanks and disposing units.
SAFETY NOTE: Texcel recommends using Dixon Valve and Coupling’s Boss™ 4-Bolt Clamp System for Hot Tar and Asphalt
hose. Please consult Dixon’s selection and installation
recommendations, including bolt re-tightening
procedures, to insure proper hose assembly.
Tube:
Black, special synthetic acrylic rubber, heat and abrasion resistant
Reinforcement:
High tensile tire cord plies; helix wire
Cover:
Black, CR anti-static, with a smooth abrasion, weather and heat resistant wrapped cover
Temperature:
-20°F to +350°F (Maximum service temp. 350°F, intermittent use only)
